Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Tai Chi Flow (the "App"), published on Google Play by Eneco B.V., Marten Meesweg 5, 3068 AV Rotterdam, Netherlands ("we", "us", "our").

This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not send any information to us or to any third party. We have no servers that receive data from the App, and we cannot see, access or recover anything you do in the App.

3. Information stored on your device

To make the App work, the following information is saved locally in the App's private storage on your device only:

• Profile settings you choose: display name (any name or nickname you type), experience level and training goal.
• Practice data: completed sessions and challenges, dates, durations, scores, experience points (XP), levels, streaks, personal records and achievements.
• Custom sessions you create.
• App preferences, such as Focus Mode and haptic feedback.

This information never leaves your device through the App. Automatic cloud backup is disabled for the App, so this data is not copied to Google Drive or other backup services by the App.

On first launch the App shows example (demo) practice data so that its features can be explored. This demo data is generated on the device and does not relate to any real person.

4. Permissions

The App does not request access to the internet, your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or any other sensitive device permission. Optional vibration feedback uses your device's standard haptics and can be switched off in the App's Profile settings.

5. Third-party services

The App does not include advertising networks, analytics services, crash-reporting services, social media plugins or any other third-party SDK that collects data.

The App is downloaded through Google Play. Google may process information about your download and device under its own privacy policy, which is available at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not receive personal data from Google about you as an individual user of the App.

6. Payments

The App is free and contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, gambling or real-money features. No payment information is handled by the App.

7. Deleting your data

You are always in control of the data on your device. You can delete it:

• in the App, under Profile › Reset data, which permanently removes all history, records, achievements, custom sessions, XP and settings; or
• by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in your device's system settings.

Because we never receive your data, we do not hold any copy that we could delete or return on request.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) give you rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Since we do not collect or process personal data through the App, there is normally no personal data held by us to which these rights apply. The data on your device remains fully under your own control as described above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

9. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Any name typed into the App is stored only on the device.

10. Health information

Tai Chi Flow is a training and practice tool. Scores and attributes shown in the App are based on in-app exercises and session completion; they are not medical measurements and the App does not collect health data. The App does not provide medical advice. Please practise within a comfortable range and consult a qualified professional if you have health concerns.

11. Security

Data is kept in the App's private storage, which Android protects from access by other apps. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no risk of your App data being intercepted in transit. Keeping your device secure (for example with a screen lock) helps protect the data stored on it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App gains new features. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. If a change would affect how data is handled, we will make this clear in the App's store listing.
